Wolf Cabin - Chims Cabins

The Wolf Cabin is the easy one. Open-concept and 400 square feet, it's the second-largest cabin at Chims, with one shallow step at the door and everything else on a single level. You come in, drop the bags, and the whole space is right there in front of you.

Sleep in Comfort A queen bed sits in the open studio layout, with a ductless heat pump serving both the sleeping and living areas so you can dial the temperature in whatever the west coast is doing outside. A double pull-out couch takes the count to four when you need it, set up ahead of time when you flag the extra guests at booking.

Gather & Unwind The full kitchen has everything but a dishwasher: real pots and pans, utensils, a Keurig, fridge, and the starter condiments so the first grocery run can wait. In-suite laundry is the quiet luxury here, only two cabins on the property have it, and it changes how you pack for a two-week contract. A 42-inch TV with Netflix rounds out the evenings, and the covered patio stays usable when the weather turns.

Adventure at Your Doorstep You're on the west side of Port Alberni, five to ten minutes from the town centre and job sites, and the last stop before the highway runs out toward Sproat Lake, Ucluelet, and Tofino. Long Beach is roughly 90 minutes west. Cathedral Grove's old growth is 20 minutes east. Mount Arrowsmith, the Alberni Inlet, and the Log Train Trail are all close enough to fill a morning and still be back for lunch.
