**Where you are** You are on the ski hill itself. TimberStone sits at the top of the Owl T-Bar on Kimberley Alpine Resort, so you walk out of a private entrance, click in, and ski — and you ski home to the same door. In summer the same terrain turns into the resort's hiking and mountain-biking network, the Kimberley Nordic Centre is a few minutes away, and the Platzl in downtown Kimberley is a three-minute drive down the hill.

**Inside** Four bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms give this one more separation than most resort condos — useful when two families share. The main floor is open, built around a gas fireplace, with a kitchen island and granite counters, a full-size oven and stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and kettle, plus a drip coffee maker with a reusable filter, a Keurig and a crockpot. Wine glasses, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and cooking basics are all stocked, and the dining table seats the group. There is a smart TV with cable, a shelf of board games, and air conditioning for the hot end of summer.

**Sleeping** Bedroom one has a king, bedroom two a queen, bedroom three a twin-over-double bunk and bedroom four a double. A sofa bed in the living room takes the total to eleven. Every bedroom has a lock, and linens, towels, extra pillows and blankets are provided along with a hair dryer, iron and hangers.

**Outside** The private hot tub is on your own balcony — no booking, no sharing, and a straight look across to the mountains from it. There is a barbecue, outdoor seating, outdoor lighting and free parking on the premises.

**Families** A bathtub, a high chair, stair gates and a shelf of children's books and toys mean this works with small children rather than merely tolerating them. Check-in is contactless and available 24 hours, so a late arrival after the drive from Calgary or Cranbrook is straightforward.

**Good to know** Wi-Fi runs at 100+ Mbps and the condo is laptop-friendly if you need to work a morning. No smoking, no pets, no parties, quiet hours from 10pm, and ski boots come off at the door. Cleaning and a separate hot tub fee are added at booking.
