## Ski to the door, properly

You clip in outside the mudroom. TimberStone sits right against the Owl T-Bar, so the walk to the first run of the day is measured in steps, not parking rows, and you can come back at lunch without it costing you an hour. In summer the same door opens onto the Kimberley Nature Park trail network and Trickle Creek Golf Resort is a two-minute drive.

## Three levels, built warm

The townhouse runs over three floors and every one of them has in-floor heating, so the tile is warm underfoot while your boots dry. Central air and forced-air heating handle the rest of the year, which still puts this ahead of most condos on the hill. There is an indoor fireplace in the living area, a full kitchen with an island, a dishwasher and an in-unit washer and dryer, and a dining table with room for all eight of you.

## Sleeping eight

The primary bedroom has a king and a spa-like ensuite. The second has a queen. The third is set up for kids with a twin-over-double bunk, and there is a twin sofa bed for an eighth guest. Cotton linens, duvets and towels are provided, along with a high chair if you are travelling with a baby.

## The deck and the hot tub

The private hot tub sits on the covered deck with the mountain in front of it. It is yours alone, not a shared complex tub, and it is charged as a separate CA$50 fee per booking. There is a barbecue with utensils and outdoor seating out there too.

## Gear, parking and access

The heated garage takes skis, bikes and clubs so nothing wet comes into the living space. One vehicle parks in front of the unit with additional parking in the main TimberStone lot. Entry is by keypad, so you can arrive whenever the drive gets you here. Wi-Fi runs above 100 Mbps and there is a desk if a workday has to happen.

## Worth knowing

Three floors and stairs mean this is not a good fit for guests with mobility challenges. There is no pool, gym or sauna on site — the hot tub is the wellness offering here.
