The Stemwinder Chalet

The Stemwinder Chalet is a six-bedroom, four-bathroom log home steps from the Kimberley Alpine Resort base area, framed by 600-year-old larchwood posts and beams under a two-storey great room with a river-rock fireplace.

Ten real beds plus two pull-out sofas sleep up to 12 guests across three levels. The main-level primary suite has a king bed, private access to the hot tub, and an en-suite with dual vanities and a soaking tub. Upstairs, three guest rooms share a hall bath, and the lower level's two bedrooms share a bath with a four-person steam room.

The kitchen is fitted with a professional-style gas range and a peninsula bar that seats four, next to a dining table for 12. Outside, guests can soak in the private hot tub, gather around the natural gas fire table, and grill on the three-burner BBQ. Off-street parking fits up to five vehicles plus a single-car garage.

Located on Stemwinder Drive at the base of the Kimberley Alpine Resort, the chalet is a short walk to the chairlift and directly across from Trickle Creek Golf Course, with the Platzl's shops and restaurants a short drive away.
