The Moorage

You open the door to The Moorage and the harbour is right there, filling the windows: boats at the marina, seals slipping past the docks, old-growth forest rising on the far shore. Handmade live-edge cedar furniture, heated floors and an open-concept layout make this two-bedroom condo feel warm and personal from the first step inside.

Sleep in Comfort

The primary bedroom has a queen bed on a handmade cedar frame, natural light, a closet, dresser and nightstands, and its own private ensuite with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom mirrors it with another queen on a handcrafted cedar frame, closet, dresser and nightstands. A queen pull-out sofa in the living room sleeps two more, for six guests in total. Both bathrooms are stocked with plush towels, a hair dryer, a first aid kit and Carina Organics shampoo and conditioner, and the shared bathroom has a tub and shower combination.

Gather & Unwind

The living and dining area is bright and open, with large windows framing the marina. A Canadian-made sofa, a handcrafted dining table, a 50-inch Samsung Frame smart TV and a propane fireplace make evenings easy, and there are books and board games on the shelf. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, shaker cabinets and granite counters, plus a bar top with two stools for morning coffee. You will find a dishwasher, microwave, rice maker, blender, spices and the basics, along with locally roasted Foggy Bean coffee and organic Thay Tea. Out on the private balcony, two harbour-facing chairs and a barbecue wait for sunset.

Adventure at Your Doorstep

You are downtown on the marina, so shops, restaurants, galleries and the waterfront are all a walk away, and fishing charters and whale-watching boats leave from the harbour. The Wild Pacific Trail winds along the headlands nearby. A short drive takes you into the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve for Florencia Bay and Long Beach, with surfing, hiking and beachcombing along the way. The West Coast Transit bus runs seven days a week between Ucluelet and Tofino, and bike and e-bike rentals are popular for the multi-use path.

Thoughtful Touches

One designated on-site parking stall is included. The condo is a ground-floor unit reached by a covered exterior staircase of about four steps, and an elevator is available with a key kept inside the unit. A washer and dryer are in the suite, with Nellie's eco-friendly laundry supplies, and cleaning products come from Mint Cleaning, a local brand. Families will find a booster-style high chair, a play pen and children's dishes. One dog is welcome with a pet fee, with towels, a small bed and bowls provided. Check-in is contactless, and a security camera outside the front door covers the entrance.

The Moorage is a calm, beautifully made place to come home to after a day on the water.
