The suite sits on the lower level of a duplex-style home; the upstairs unit is completely separate with its own entrance and HVAC, and sound barriers between floors and doors help ensure restful nights. A short flight of stairs leads down to the suite, after which everything is on one level. The suite has no air conditioning, but portable fans are provided and evenings cool nicely with the windows open.
