Purcell Condos sits on the mountain at Kimberley Alpine Resort with ski access from the building, so the winter day starts at the door. Come summer the same spot opens onto the Kimberley Nature Park trail network — over 50 km of hiking and mountain-biking trail inside city limits — and Trickle Creek golf is minutes down the road, with two more championship courses in town.

## Eight guests, four real beds

The first bedroom has two double beds, sleeping four; the second has a queen. A queen sofa bed in the living room takes the last two. That is four proper beds before anyone touches the sofa, which is a better ratio than most eight-guest condos manage. Two bathrooms, including a bathtub, and everything on one level.

## Inside

Air conditioning plus ceiling and portable fans keep summer comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped — dishwasher, oven, stove, blender, kettle, baking sheet, wine glasses — with a dining table beside it. There is a smart TV with cable, a CD/DVD player, board games, and Wi-Fi above 100 Mbps. A high chair is available.

## Shared facilities, stated plainly

The hot tub is the Purcell Condos commercial tub, shared across the complex rather than private to this unit, and the quote carries no hot tub fee as a result. The seasonal heated outdoor pool is likewise a complex facility, as is the laundry — the washer and dryer are communal, not in-unit. There is an outdoor play area, a garden and outdoor seating in the grounds.

## Worth knowing
