Prairie Oasis | Sleeps 16+ | BBQ, Fireplace & Loft!

Prairie Oasis is a large house on three floors just outside downtown Sylvan Lake, Alberta, built to hold sixteen guests without anyone feeling squeezed. It sits under a five-minute walk from the beach and Lake Shore Drive, close enough to leave the car parked for the weekend.

The third floor is given over to a master loft with a memory foam king mattress, a private coffee station and mini fridge, a sitting area, and an ensuite bathroom with a full stand-up shower behind a sliding barn door. The second floor holds three queen bedrooms, a living room with a sectional and queen sleeper sofa, a fireplace, and a full bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Two further queen bedrooms and a laundry room occupy the basement.

The main floor carries the kitchen, dining room, a sitting room with another sleeper sofa, and a half bath. The kitchen is stocked with a refrigerator, stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee maker, along with cookware, dishes and silverware, and air conditioning runs throughout the home.

Evenings tend to land in front of the fireplace or the smart television, which carries Netflix, Disney Plus and Prime Video, and there is a deep shelf of board games including Catan, Sequence, Yahtzee and Connect 4. The backyard has a patio with dining furniture and a propane barbecue for warmer days. The house has stairs between all three floors.
