On the Ridge is a three-bedroom townhome set near the top of the hill in Vista at Ryders Ridge, one of Sylvan Lake's newer south-end communities. The three-storey layout sleeps up to eight guests and is air conditioned throughout, with a quiet residential setting and distant views of town and the lake from the front balcony.

The main floor is open concept, pairing a comfortable living area and smart TV with a fully stocked kitchen, an island with four stools and a dining table seating six. Upstairs, the primary bedroom has a king bed, a private ensuite with a walk-in shower and its own smart TV, while two further bedrooms each hold a double bed. A powder room with laundry sits on the main floor and a tub and shower combination serves the upper level, making two and a half bathrooms in total.

The lower level gives the group somewhere to spread out. A couch converts to a king sofa bed, and the room also holds a treadmill, workout bench and weights, a smart TV, desk space and a shelf of books, games, cards and puzzles. Fast Wi-Fi and a laptop friendly workspace suit guests working during their stay.

Outdoors, the front balcony seats two around a propane fire table, and the back deck seats four beside a barbecue and a fully fenced yard with Adirondack chairs, overlooking the farmer's field behind the home. Sylvan Lake Beach, the lakefront, restaurants, shops and three golf courses are all a short drive away, with two dedicated parking stalls plus driveway and rear parking on site.
