Nordic Spa Retreat with Hot Tub and Barrel Sauna

Unplug at a Nordic spa-inspired home in Griesbach, an award-winning master-planned community in north Edmonton just 10 minutes from downtown and steps from scenic walking trails. With five bedrooms, a private hot tub, a wood-burning barrel sauna and a backyard built for fires, this is the place for group getaways, family reunions and local staycations that feel a world away.

Sleep in Comfort Five spacious bedrooms across the upper floor and basement offer king, queen and twin sleeping arrangements, six beds in all, each made up with fresh linens. Two full bathrooms are stocked with complimentary soap, shampoo and body wash, and in-suite laundry with detergent provided keeps a long stay simple. Please note all bedrooms and bathrooms are reached by stairs; there is no ground-floor sleeping or washroom option.

Gather & Unwind Cozy up around the gas fireplace in the living room or square off at the foosball table. Three smart TVs and 250 Mbps Wi-Fi keep everyone connected, and the fully stocked kitchen, with an Electrolux stainless electric stove, fridge, microwave and all the dishes and cutlery you need, makes group dinners easy. Outside is where this home truly shines. Slip into the six-person hot tub, sweat it out in the cedar barrel sauna, then gather around the fire table on the patio or roast marshmallows at the fire pit with a bundle of firewood from your hosts. A BBQ with grill tools is ready for summer evenings, and the home has air conditioning for warm days in the cooling season.

Adventure at Your Doorstep Griesbach's tree-lined streets, historical military monuments, Griesbach Park, ponds and trails are ideal for morning strolls and dog walks. Beaumaris Lake, Castle Downs Recreation Centre and Castle Downs Park are minutes away, and 137th Avenue offers restaurants, grocery stores and shops, with Cactus Club, Browns Socialhouse, The Keg and more nearby. Downtown, Rogers Place and the Ice District are a 10 to 15 minute drive, and the airport is about 30 minutes.

Thoughtful Touches Self check-in via keypad, a private front entrance, a pack and play, high chair and a starter pack of essentials are all in place. The home is professionally cleaned between guests, and pets are welcome with prior approval for a nightly fee. Hot tub and fire pit use follow neighbourhood quiet hours, and exterior security cameras cover the entrances, patio, hot tub and garage.
