Luxurious Lakeside Oasis with Boat Slip

You arrive at a two-storey condo on the pool side of Barona Beach Resort, with Okanagan Lake a short walk across the sand. A keypad lets you in, and a resort fob opens the saltwater pool, the hot tub, the gym and the secure underground parkade. A private boat slip is available to rent if you are bringing something with a motor.

Sleep in Comfort

Two bedrooms are set well apart in this two-storey layout. The primary has a king bed, blackout curtains, a Juliet balcony and an ensuite with a separate tub and shower. The second bedroom holds a queen bed, its own blackout curtains, a ceiling fan and a large patio door. Extra pillows, blankets and fresh linens are stocked, along with hair dryers and towels for both the bathroom and the beach.

Gather & Unwind

The family room centres on a large sectional in front of the TV, with unlimited wifi for the evenings you decide to stay in. Meals happen at the dining table or along the kitchen island bar. The kitchen runs on a gas range and comes with a dishwasher, wine fridge, coffee machine, electric kettle, blender and every pot, pan and wine glass you will reach for. Downstairs, the ground-level deck has a dining table, chairs and a gas barbecue, so dinner can move outside when the evening is warm.

Adventure at Your Doorstep

The resort keeps a sandy beach and private docks for guests, and the saltwater pool and hot tub generally run from late May into early October. Beyond the gate, the Westside Wine Trail and Mission Hill Winery are minutes away. Two Eagles Golf Course looks out over the lake and mountains, Bear Creek Provincial Park has a trail to Bear Creek Falls, and the Okanagan Rail Trail stretches 50 kilometres for cyclists. On the water, kayaking, paddleboarding, tubing and waterskiing are all within reach, and local tour companies will drive you to the wineries so nobody has to skip the tasting.

Thoughtful Touches

Sierra Vacation Rentals stocks the unit before you arrive: toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, coffee, tea, coffee filters, sugar, cooking oil, salt and pepper, foil, wrap, garbage bags, dish soap and laundry detergent. An in-suite washer and dryer, a drying rack, an iron, a pack and play and a high chair round it out. One underground stall comes with the condo, and a second stall is available for a nightly fee.

Come for the lake and the wine, and let the resort handle the rest.
