Lucky Eagle Guest Lodge

The Lucky Eagle greets you with water and mountains. Expansive windows pull the view of Tofino's harbour and the peaks of Clayoquot Sound straight into the living space, while a lot of mixed old-growth forest wraps around the half-acre property. The style is modern cabin inside and out, warm wood and clean lines, and the whole place feels as unique as the maritime town just down the road.

Sleep in Comfort

There are two primary suites, each with a king bed. On the ground floor, a king bedroom has its own ensuite with a walk-in rain shower. Take the covered outdoor staircase to the main floor and you reach the second king bedroom, with sliding barn doors for privacy and access to a jack-and-jill bathroom. Above the kitchen, a loft with two twin beds is the fun spot for kids or a couple of extra friends. A travel crib is available for infants.

Gather & Unwind

The kitchen was designed for people who like to cook, open to the view and the living area, with an island for prep and spices already in the cupboard. The large salvaged cedar dining table beside floor-to-ceiling windows seats six and is the natural home for a fresh-caught dinner. A wood fireplace warms the bright living room. Outside, the covered patio has seating and a hammock, and the spa side of the property includes a covered hot tub with seating, a newly finished sauna, an outdoor shower and a fire pit under the trees.

Adventure at Your Doorstep

Town is a moment's walk away, so restaurants, galleries and the harbour docks are all on foot. Fishing, whale watching and Clayoquot Sound boat tours leave from the marina nearby, and the beaches of the Pacific Rim are a three-minute drive. The owners, Dan and Lauren, live on the property in a separate cabin and are happy to point you toward the best of the coast; Dan is a boat captain, and photos show a floating sauna camp the hosts also operate.

Thoughtful Touches

Free Wi-Fi, free parking on site with street parking as well, luggage drop-off, a washer and dryer, and a full set of toiletries cover the practical side. Dogs are welcome, up to two per booking with a nightly pet fee. Gatherings can be arranged with the hosts in advance. Longer stays are allowed.
