You arrive on a quiet, family-friendly street a short walk from the centre of Tofino, and the first thing you do is head upstairs to the windows. The inlet and the mountains beyond fill the view from the living room and the little barbecue deck off the back, and the house feels like a comfortable home base rather than a rental.

Sleep in Comfort

Three bedrooms sleep up to six. One bedroom is on the ground level with its own half bath, a good fit for a couple who want their own space or for older kids. The other two bedrooms are on the upper floor beside the main bathroom with its tub. Fresh linens, room-darkening shades, extra pillows and blankets and clothing storage are in place, and a pack-n-play travel crib is available for little ones.

Gather and Unwind

The kitchen, dining and living areas share the upper floor with the views. The kitchen comes fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee maker, along with baking sheets, barbecue utensils and wine glasses, so cooking a big dinner is easy. The living room has a fireplace and a smart TV with Netflix for slow evenings, and the barbecue deck out back is where you take in the mountain and inlet light. A ceiling fan keeps the upper floor comfortable on warm days.

Adventure at Your Doorstep

The Tofino town centre, with its restaurants and shops, is a close walk away, and some of the area's nicest beaches and hikes are a short 5-minute drive. Tofino Taxi and Whistle, the local ride service, cover the trips you would rather not drive. This is a street full of local families and kids, so it stays calm and welcoming through the evening.

Thoughtful Touches

Two off-street parking spaces are provided, with plenty of free roadside parking nearby. The loft desk gives you a proper workspace, and Wi-Fi is included. One dog is welcome with a $50 pet cleaning fee when you let the host know at booking. A long-term tenant lives in a separate suite in the house and another in the back cabin; you will not share any spaces with them, but sound can travel, so a little courtesy on noise goes a long way. The hosts are usually close by if you need anything and otherwise leave you to enjoy your privacy.
