Lakefront Hot Tub Suite at The Aqua

This is the upper level of a lakefront home at the brand new Aqua building, with its own private entrance and its own staircase. There are no shared hallways and no noise from passing guests. What there is instead: a fully covered patio over Okanagan Lake with a private hot tub that runs year round, and a building full of resort amenities you can use whenever you feel like it. The owner lives on the lower level behind a separate door, so the two spaces stay entirely apart.

Sleep in Comfort

The master bedroom has a king bed, nightstands with bedside lighting, fresh linens, generous closet space and a door that opens straight onto the covered balcony. The ensuite is built around a freestanding soaking tub, and a second full bathroom serves the living side of the suite, which is unusual in a one-bedroom and useful when four people share it. The pull-out sofa bed in the living room brings the count to four. Room darkening shades, extra pillows and blankets, air conditioning and heating are all in place.

Gather & Unwind

The open living room has a Smart TV, a coffee table and the sofa bed. The kitchen here is a bar-style wet bar rather than a full cookline: a sink, dishwasher, mini fridge, microwave, electric kettle, Nespresso machine, toaster, wine glasses, dishes and utensils. There is no stove, oven or cooktop in the suite, so guests use the shared kitchen in the building for anything larger, or walk to Pandosy Village and the Lower Mission restaurants. The patio is the real living room anyway, with outdoor furniture and the hot tub facing the lake.

Adventure at Your Doorstep

The beach is directly accessible from the building, and the Cook Road Boat Launch is next door, with Rotary Beach and Gyro Beach a short walk along the waterfront. The building's own amenities include two complimentary golf simulator stalls, a two-level fitness centre, an outdoor infinity pool, a cold plunge, an outdoor sauna, communal hot tubs and a game room. Manteo at Eldorado Resort, Basil & Mint, OEB Breakfast, Creekside Pub and Bright Jenny Coffee are nearby, and CedarCreek, Summerhill Pyramid and Tantalus Vineyards are a short drive. Kayaking, sailing, parasailing, cycling, hiking and golf all start close by.

Thoughtful Touches

Two indoor parking stalls are included, along with beach essentials, free WiFi and a comprehensive welcome book covering the suite, the building and local recommendations. Sierra Vacation Rentals stocks the suite with toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, coffee, tea, filters, sugar, cooking oil, salt and pepper, foil, plastic wrap, garbage bags, dish soap and laundry detergent. Note there is no washer or dryer in the suite, so plan for nearby laundry facilities.
