Hummingbird – 2 Bedroom Carriage House

Hummingbird is a bright, open two-storey carriage house tucked into a tranquil neighbourhood in the heart of McKenzie Towne, in southeast Calgary. It has a small-town feel with all the comforts of the big city, and it offers something a little different from the usual suite.

Sleep in Comfort

Two bedrooms sleep five. One has a queen bed and a twin, which is ideal when you are travelling with little ones. Blackout blinds, extra pillows and blankets, and wardrobes are all here, and the bathroom has a tub.

Gather & Unwind

The open living space is bright and welcoming. The kitchen has a stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, blender and rice maker, with coffee, cooking basics and wine glasses, and a dining table for family meals. Step outside to the patio and garden with its outdoor seating on warm evenings.

Adventure at Your Doorstep

Prestwick Pond is a few steps away, with a stunning pathway around the water. McKenzie Towne Plaza is a 5-minute drive or 10-minute walk, with grocery stores, pubs, coffee shops, a pizza parlour, a pharmacy, a post office and more. The rest of Calgary is an easy drive when you want it. It is an easy base for visiting family in southeast Calgary or for a longer stay.

Thoughtful Touches

Keypad self check-in and a private entrance. Air conditioning for summer. In-suite washer and dryer, an iron and an ironing board. Free parking on site and on the street. A first aid kit, fire extinguisher and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Pets are welcome with approval for $52.50 per pet, per stay. Early check-in from 1 PM and late check-out until 2 PM can be requested for a fee, subject to availability. The primary guest must be 25 or older, and quiet hours start at 10 PM out of respect for the neighbours.
