Dreamcatcher Mountain Cabin

This one is a cabin in the honest sense: warm wood, a stone fireplace, big windows onto the trees, and enough room that ten people aren't standing in each other's way. It sits in Dreamcatcher Resort at the base of Kimberley Alpine Resort.

Sleep in Comfort Four bedrooms, four queen beds, two on the main floor and two in the basement. No bunk-bed negotiations, no odd single tucked in a corner. There's a sofa bed in the living room if you need a tenth spot. Each bedroom is simply done with good linens and pillows.

Gather and Unwind There are three full bathrooms: an ensuite off Bedroom 1, one off the main living area, and a third serving the two basement bedrooms. The kitchen is properly stocked, with an island and a dining table that seats the group. Both the main floor and the basement have their own seating, dining area, fireplace and large smart TV, so two things can happen at once without anyone shouting over the other. Basic cable is there, and you can log into your own streaming accounts.

Adventure at Your Doorstep The Kimberley Alpine Resort lifts are minutes away, and the same slopes turn into biking and hiking terrain once the snow goes. Trickle Creek golf is close, and the Platzl, Kimberley's pedestrian downtown, is a short drive for dinner.

The Mountain Club Dreamcatcher's shared clubhouse is a short walk: a heated seasonal pool, a hot tub, a gym, saunas and a lounge. Note this cabin does not have its own private hot tub - the club tub is the one you'll be using.

Thoughtful Touches A covered deck with a propane BBQ, which matters in a place where grilling season would otherwise be short. A front-loading washer and dryer with pods supplied. Contactless entry, so arrival is on your schedule.
