You turn off 50 Avenue into the cottage area and the pace drops immediately. This is the older, leafier part of Sylvan Lake, where the houses sit on generous lots and the beach is a short walk rather than a drive. Cottage Cove is the one with the big open yard out back and the fire pit already laid.

Sleep in Comfort

Four bedrooms sleep ten across six beds. Bedroom one is a king with its own ensuite, so whoever is organizing the trip gets a door to close. Bedroom three is a second king. Bedroom two is a comfortable queen, and bedroom four is the one the kids will claim, a twin-over-twin bunk alongside a queen, flexible enough for cousins, teens, or a couple of extra adults. Downstairs, the basement sofa bed adds one more option when the group grows. Two full bathrooms plus a half bath mean mornings move.

Gather & Unwind

The upstairs living room is open to the kitchen and dining area, which is exactly what you want when half the group is cooking and the other half is still in beach clothes. The kitchen is fully stocked with full-size appliances, real cookware, wine glasses, and a dedicated coffee station. The dining table seats the whole group for dinner and, later, for cards. When the crowd splits, the basement living room takes the overflow with its own smart TV, useful on a rainy afternoon or when the game is on and the kids want a movie.

Adventure at Your Doorstep

The beach, the lakeside paths, and downtown Sylvan Lake are all minutes away. Summer here means paddleboarding, boat rentals, patio lunches, and long evenings by the water. Winter quiets down into skating, ice fishing, and lake views with nobody on them. The house works year-round, which is not true of every place on this street.

Thoughtful Touches

Main-floor laundry handles the beach towels. The driveway holds four vehicles. Well-behaved pets are welcome with approval. The yard has a hammock, outdoor seating, and enough room for a game of anything.
