2 Bedroom Retreat at Coppersky

You are on the fourth floor at Copper Sky Resort, in the building directly across from the amenity centre, with a beach-inspired condo that stays bright from morning to evening. The patio looks out over a slice of Okanagan Lake, and the resort pool, hot tub and gym are a short walk from your door. It is a straightforward base for a West Kelowna trip, with room for five and no stairs to climb thanks to the elevator.

Rest Easy

Both bedrooms are built around plush memory foam beds and premium linens. The primary bedroom has a king bed, a peek-a-boo lake view to wake up to, a large flat-screen TV and a walk-in closet, with a four-piece ensuite that pairs a standing shower with a soaker tub. The second bedroom holds a queen bed and plenty of closet space, and the guests using it have the three-piece main bath to themselves, TV included. When the count runs to five, the queen memory foam sofa bed in the living room takes the extra guest.

Cook, Eat, Linger

The open-concept kitchen has modern appliances, a coffee bar stocked with complimentary coffee and tea, and the cooking basics you actually reach for: pots and pans, a blender, an electric kettle, a toaster, a baking sheet and wine glasses. Two stools sit at the bar and the adjacent dining area seats four. Step out to the patio and the gas grill takes over, with an outdoor table for four and lounge chairs for two. Inside, widescreen TVs in the living room and both bedrooms carry streaming entertainment for slower evenings.

The Resort Is Yours

Your fob opens the amenity centre across the way. That means a lake view outdoor pool, a hot tub that usually runs year round, a sauna, a steam room, a fully equipped fitness centre, tennis courts and a games room with a pool table and ping pong table. The pool is generally open from late May to early October. Closures for maintenance are set by the strata rather than the host.

Out and About

A short drive puts you at Kelowna area wineries, golf courses, shopping and the beaches along Okanagan Lake. A bicycle and beach essentials are on hand for the days you would rather stay close.

Air conditioning, in-suite laundry in the main bathroom and one underground parking stall round out a condo that is easy to settle into and easy to leave tidy.
