Cedar Landing

You step through the ground-level entrance and climb to a top floor filled with light. Floor-to-ceiling windows open onto the inlet and the mountains of Clayoquot Sound, and the whole space feels new because it is. Cedar Landing was finished in April 2021, and every piece of it, from the modern lines to the local art on the walls, was chosen with care.

Sleep in Comfort

Three bedrooms give a family or group of six comfortable room to spread out across the fully self-contained top floor. Fresh linens, extra pillows and blankets, hangers and clothing storage are ready in each room, and a pack-n-play is available for the smallest travellers. Two full bathrooms include a tub, and shampoo, conditioner, body soap and shower gel are provided.

Gather and Unwind

The fully stocked kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee maker, along with baking sheets, barbecue utensils and wine glasses. A large dining table makes it the natural place to cook and share a meal, and the fireplace and TV keep the living area cozy on rainy evenings. Board games and books for kids are on hand. Out front, the deck takes in the inlet and mountain views; out back, a partially enclosed deck off the kitchen keeps the barbecue dry and gives you a private sunny corner.

Adventure at Your Doorstep

Within a 5-minute walk you can find coffee, award-winning cuisine, an organic grocery store, surf shops and tour operators in Tofino village. The elementary school and village playground are close by, where the Tofino Market sets up every Saturday morning in spring and summer. The Tonquin Trail is a 5-minute drive one way and the surf beaches are 5 minutes the other. Bring bikes and follow the bike path through Tofino all the way to Long Beach, or use Whistle, the local ride service, and the Tiki Bus for getting around.

Thoughtful Touches

Two dedicated parking spots are on the property, with limited free street parking nearby, and an electric vehicle charger is available. Rinse off in the outdoor cedar-surrounded shower after a surf. The house has air conditioning, heating, a laptop-friendly workspace and Wi-Fi. Tenants live in a separate suite below with their own entrance, so please keep things quiet after 11 PM. The hosts live nearby in Tofino and are glad to share their favourite things to do, and 2% of every direct booking is donated to a local charity.
