Cedar and Salt

You pull in under mature cedars on the quiet outskirts of Tofino and the forest closes in around the house. Inside, vaulted ceilings and big windows fill the open main floor with green light. Out back, a hot tub and barrel sauna wait on the deck, and South Chesterman Beach is a short walk away.

Sleep in Comfort

The primary bedroom sits on the upper floor with a spacious king bed, plush linens and forest views. A Juliette balcony with an Adirondack chair is made for slow mornings, and the room has its own private ensuite with shower. Downstairs, the second bedroom has a queen bed, clothing storage and plenty of natural light, while the third bedroom holds twin bunk beds with playful decor, ideal for kids or extra guests. Both bathrooms have a bathtub and shower, and the ground-floor bathroom has a separate tub and shower. Carina Organics shampoo, conditioner and body wash are stocked in each, along with a hair dryer, so you can pack light.

Gather and Unwind

The dining table seats six for shared meals after a day outdoors. Sink into the plush couch, curl up on the bay window bench or settle in with the Smart TV, books and board games. The kitchen is bright and airy with white cabinetry, a large island, a propane range, oven, microwave and all the cookware you need. Salt, pepper and olive oil are supplied, cleaning sprays come from Mint Cleaning in Ucluelet, and mornings start with a starter supply of Foggy Bean organic dark roast and a drip coffee maker, with organic teas alongside. Note that the woodstove is currently non-operational for insurance reasons; the home is fully electrically heated and warm year-round.

Adventure at Your Doorstep

South Chesterman Beach is steps away for surfing, beach walks and sunsets. The multi-use path connects you to town and its parks, beaches and restaurants on foot or by e-bike, and the West Coast Transit bus runs daily between Tofino and Ucluelet. Whale watching, boating, bird watching and wildlife viewing are all close at hand, and a surfboard rack on the deck means your boards are ready when the swell is.

Thoughtful Touches

The back deck is the heart of the place: a two-person hot tub, an electric barrel sauna for up to four, a heated outdoor shower, a propane fire pit, outdoor lighting and covered living space, plus a propane BBQ on the living room deck. There is a dedicated desk with high-speed Wi-Fi, in-unit laundry with Nellie's ocean-safe soda, an EV charger and parking for two on the right side of the driveway. Check-in is contactless with a Welcome Guide sent ahead, and Blue Crush is local and reachable if you need a hand. One dog is welcome with advance notice, and a long-term tenant in a separate suite on the property respects your privacy.
