Butterfly Cabin - Chims Cabins

Some trips come down to a simple question: who's sharing a bed? The Butterfly Cabin answers it. One queen, two proper twins, 375 square feet, and everyone gets their own space to sleep.

Sleep in Comfort The queen anchors the cabin, with two separate twin beds giving kids, teenagers, or a pair of colleagues their own spot rather than a fold-out compromise. A ductless heat pump serves both the sleeping and main areas, so the room temperature is settled before anyone starts arguing about it.

Gather & Unwind The full-size kitchen has an electric stove and oven, a fridge, and a Keurig, plus the pots, pans, utensils, and starter condiments that come standard in every Chims cabin. A 50-inch TV with Netflix, the biggest on the property, takes care of the evening, and the larger bathroom with its walk-in shower makes the morning shuffle less of a queue. There is no in-suite laundry here, but a dedicated paid guest laundry room sits on site.

Adventure at Your Doorstep Chims sits on the west side of Port Alberni, five to ten minutes from town and the last accommodation before the highway heads out to Sproat Lake, Ucluelet, and Tofino. Long Beach is about 90 minutes. Cathedral Grove's giant Douglas firs are 20 minutes the other way. Mount Arrowsmith, the Log Train Trail, and Alberni Inlet salmon runs are all within easy reach, and plenty of guests use the cabin as a cheaper base for Tofino day trips.

Thoughtful Touches One step in and out, a private entrance, and no shared walls. A dedicated parking spot comes with the cabin. Deadbolt locks, fresh bedding and towels, and dispenser toiletries are already there. Children are welcome, though playpens and highchairs are not provided, bring your own if you need them.

Straightforward, roomy, and set up so everyone actually sleeps.
