Beautiful 3 bedroom at a private beach resort

This one is on the first floor at Barona Beach Resort, which is the practical kind of luxury: no stairs, no elevator wait, and a level walk out to the sand. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms hold eight people, and the layout was clearly set up with families in mind. The lake is a few steps past the door.

Sleep in Comfort

The primary bedroom has a king bed and its own ensuite. The second bedroom holds a queen. The third is the kids' room, with a bunk that has a twin on top and a double underneath, and a pullout sofa bed in the living area covers the last two guests. House rule from the host on the bunk: children on the top, adults on the bottom. Linens, towels, hangers, a drying rack and an in-suite washing machine are all provided, and ceiling fans work alongside the air conditioning through the warm months.

Gather & Unwind

The living room runs on a smart TV and 50+ Mbps WiFi, and there is cable if you want it. The kitchen is fully equipped around a central island, with an oven and stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, electric kettle, coffee maker, baking sheets, cooking basics and wine glasses. A dining room table anchors the meals that happen indoors. The rest move outside to the private patio, where outdoor furniture sits beside a natural gas BBQ and a set of barbeque utensils.

Adventure at Your Doorstep

Barona Beach Resort gives you a sandy private beach first, then a fitness facility with equipment, then a heated pool and hot tub that generally open from late May through early October, then a secured underground parkade to leave the car in. Beach essentials and water sports gear are in the unit. Past the gate, the Westside Wine Trail and Mission Hill Winery are minutes up the road and winery tours run from the area. The lake takes care of the rest with kayaking, sailing, jet skiing, parasailing, tubing and water skiing, and there is golf, hiking and mountain biking within a short drive.

Every Sierra Vacation Rentals stay starts stocked, so toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, coffee, tea, filters, sugar, cooking oil, salt and pepper, foil, wrap, garbage bags, dish soap and laundry detergent are already here. One underground parking stall comes with the unit, with street and overflow parking as the backup.
