Arnet House

You arrive in the heart of downtown Tofino and step into a house that has watched the harbour since 1932. Arnet House has been thoughtfully restored, and the first thing you notice is the light: harbour and mountain views from the main rooms, a sunroom that catches the morning, and a deck that hangs over the water. It is a true Tofino original, and it feels like one.

Sleep in Comfort

Three bedrooms sleep six. The king bedroom is spacious, with a king-size bed, a cozy seating area and ocean views, a calm place to retreat at the end of the day. The queen bedroom looks straight out over the water, so you wake to the harbour scenery. The third bedroom has two single beds, a comfortable option for children, friends or anyone who prefers separate sleeping. The main-floor bathroom is generous, with a large soaker tub, a separate walk-in shower and a washer and dryer for guest use, and a three-piece bathroom with a shower sits upstairs near the bedrooms.

Gather and Unwind

The kitchen is fully equipped for everything from a quick breakfast to a long dinner at home, with a gas stove, a full-size refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and toaster, and the island seats six. The dining area opens to the living spaces for meals, games or a glass of wine, and the living room has comfortable seating, Optik TV and high-speed TELUS internet for streaming or working remotely. The sunroom is one of the most inviting rooms in the house, made for a quiet coffee and a book while Tofino wakes up around you. Outside, the deck overlooks the harbour with comfortable patio seating and a BBQ, and the private hot tub seats four with the coastal air all around.

Adventure at Your Doorstep

Step out the door and you are within easy walking distance of Tofino's waterfront, restaurants, cafés, shops and galleries. Beaches and adventures on the water, from surf to boat tours into Clayoquot Sound, are a short walk or drive away. From the deck, keep an eye on the harbour: eagles are frequent visitors, and otters, seals and sea lions move through the water below.

Thoughtful Touches

Upstairs there is a dedicated play area for younger guests, and a baby gate and a selection of baby and family items are in the home. The house is pet-friendly for one dog with prior approval and a pet fee; the owners also have a small dog on site, so visiting dogs stay leashed outdoors. A digital Welcome Book arrives before your stay with house instructions and local recommendations for Tofino and Ucluelet. Two percent of every booking is donated to local charity.
